Quality Policy of Our Dental Practice

The Sanjivani Dental Implant & Multi-speciality Dental Treatment Centre aims to provide dental care of a consistent quality, for all patients.

We have management systems to help us and which define each practice member's responsibilities when looking after you.

  • In proposing treatment we will take account of your own wishes. We will explain treatment options, where appropriate, and all kind of costs involved, so that you can make an informed choice. We will always explain what we are doing. We will also give you list of procedures to be done with their individual costs.
  • We will do all we can to look after your general health. We will ask you about your general health and about any medicines being taken. This helps us to treat you safely. We keep all information about you confidential.
  • Contamination control is also essential to the safety of our patients. Every practice member receives training in practice systems for contamination control. We ensure that all procedures have high standards of sterilization protocols.
  • We screen all patients for mouth cancer at routine checkups. We ask patients about tobacco and alcohol use because they increase your oral cancer risk.
  • Practice working methods are reviewed regularly at meetings. We encourage all staffs to make suggestions for improving the care we give to patients.
  • We regularly ask patient for their views on our services. We have systems for dealing promptly with patient complaints and for ensuring that lessons are learnt from any mistakes that we make.
  • All dentists in the practice take part in continuing professional education programme / meetings / conferences - meeting the Dental Council of India's requirements. We aim to keep up-to-date with current thinking on all aspects of general dentistry as well as specialized dentistry, including Dental Implant Procedures, Cosmetic Dentistry and Preventive - Restorative care which reduce your need for treatment.
  • All staffs joining the practice are given training in practice-wide procedures. Once a year, there is an individual review of training needs for everyone in the practice.
  • We would like to take prior oral / written consent for all procedures explained and agreed by patient and their relative to ensure smoothness and transparency of all procedures. This also includes any add on treatment during / in-between course of ongoing treatment.
  • We would like to take prior oral / written consent for financial commitment from patient and his/her immediate relative at time of execution/ commencement of decided treatment procedures. This may involve payment modalities with advance payment / multi installment payment options. Final settlement of all accounts has to be done just before final appointment or as mutually agreed.
  • We have certain type of treament discounts  to offer (only for certain type of treatments) but certainly we donot entertain bargaining / delaying tendency with payment of decided cost of treament because we do not like to compromise on quality of our dental material used in procedure also we donot recommend shortcuts in treatment protocols. In case we need to use extra material during procedure we always inform patient's relative at that time and take their consent towards payment of extra cost involved.
